I always wanted to work with dogs, but never had the chance. I originally wanted to open a mobile dog grooming business but after many medical issues I figured this was an easier hands on option to be around dogs all the time. Once I dug into what Slatmills were and what all the benefits were, I decided that it was an overall better thing to bring to the community of Pierce County!

MICKEY’S PERSONAL STATEMENT

I’m a 12 year old Black Lab mix and match. I had a rough upbringing until I met my dad, I’m a good old Craigslist dog that has lots of anixety when my family is not around. One sure way to always brighten my day is to get all my zoomies out when my dad gets home. Once, he brought out this strange contraption. I was very hesitant but not too scared since my dad was there. We worked on it and now I can get all my zoomies out and not be limited to my track I made in the backyard.
